Shoulder to shoulder we stand with pride, love and unity
Erik de Haart survived one of Australia’s worst tragedies - the 2002 Bali bombings. The heartbreaking loss of his Coogee Dolphins team mates and the horrendous aftermath of the attack will never leave him. Whilst his courageous and selfless efforts on that terrible night saved many lives, Erik personally retreated from the hero tag that everyone else believed he deserved. After many years of suffering in silence, Erik has displayed even more courage to bring attention to one of our society’s most insidious dangers – the mental anguish he suffers through the guilt of those he couldn’t save. Erik’s powerful story will continue to assist other people in our community to seek assistance with their own problems. Whilst we will never know the ever present emotional pain he endures, we stand shoulder to shoulder with Erik in pride, love and unity.

95 points (5 Stars) – Sam Kim, Wine Orbit Stylish and super elegant, the wine shows white flesh stone fruit, Gala apple and lemon peel characters on the nose with nuances of vanilla and hazelnut. It’s concentrated and brilliantly focused on the palate, delivering lovely weight and roundness backed by bright acidity, finishing impressively long and linear. At its best: 2021 to 2029.
94 points (5 Stars) – Stephen Read, Wine Matrix The nose has complex lifted aromas of citrus, nectarine, apple and soft vanillin oak with a hint of nuttiness. On the palate it is sophisticated complex and layered with citrus, nectarine, subtle oak, balanced by great acid and a long elegant finish. A wine to be enjoyed now or cellar for 5+ years.
94 points (5 Stars) – Leo Daly, Wine Matrix Light straw in colour. The nose offers up a tight citrus, apple and vanilla nuances. The palate is a complex array of white peach, melon and some butterscotch characters that deliver a beautiful example of cool climate Chardonnay at it’s best. It lingers long on the finish that is clean and crisp. A delight now but will only fatten up with 5 years in the cellar.
