94 Points (5 Stars) – Wine Orbit Beautifully ripe and fragrant, the instantly appealing bouquet shows cassis, dark plum, cigar and toasted almond characters with nuances of spice and floral. The palate delivers excellent concentration and weight, wonderfully enhanced by supple texture and silky tannins. The wine is generous and flavoursome, and offers terrific drinking.
93 points – Rob Geddes Meeting the nose are savoury raspberry, dark berry, mulberry leaf aromas. The palate has harmony from well-judged fruit and oak balance with a good middle with flavour length showing mulberry, raspberry, black currant fruits and fine tannins to close.
93 points – Ray Jordan The Hilltops region when the season is good, produces excellent cabernets. The hall mark is a friendly approachability with elegance and refinement the key. Yet, there is also ample structure and power here with a perfectly integrated plate effortlessly extending to a long finish.
